Free Download Mac Anderson, "212 the Extra Degree: Extraordinary Results Begin With One Small Change"

At 211º water is hot. At 212º, it boils. And with boiling water, comes steam. And steam can power a locomotive. The one extra degree makes the difference. This simple analogy reflects the ultimate definition of excellence. Because it’s the one extra degree of effort, in business and life, that can separate the good from the great. This powerful book by Sam Parker and Mac Anderson gives solid examples of how to incorporate the 212º philosophy into all aspects of your life – at work, with friends and as a parent. Great quotes and great stories illustrate the 212º concept in a memorable format. A warning…once you read it, it will be hard to forget.

A Synopsis of Elementary Results in Pure and Applied Mathematics

Free Download A Synopsis of Elementary Results in Pure and Applied Mathematics By George Shoobridge Carr
2013 | 298 Pages | ISBN: 1139248545 | PDF | 12 MB
When George Shoobridge Carr (1837-1914) wrote his Synopsis of Elementary Results he intended it as an aid to students preparing for degree-level examinations such as the Cambridge Mathematical Tripos, for which he provided private tuition. He would have been startled to see the two volumes, first published in 1880 and 1886 respectively, reissued more than a century later. Notably, in 1903 the work fell into the hands of the Indian prodigy Srinivasa Ramanujan (1887-1920) and greatly influenced his mathematical education. It is the interaction between a methodical teaching aid and the soaring spirit of a self-taught genius which gives this reissue its interest. Volume 1, presented here in its 1886 printing, contains sections on mathematical tables, algebra, the theory of equations, plane trigonometry, spherical trigonometry, elementary geometry and geometrical conics.

Objectives and Key Results is the first full-fledged reference guide on Objectives and Key Results, a critical-thinking framework designed to help organizations create value through focus, alignment, and better communication. Written by two leading OKRs consultants and researchers, this audiobook provides a one-stop resource for organizations looking to quantify qualitative goals. You’ll learn how OKRs came to be and how leading companies use them every day to help teams and employees stretch their thinking about what’s possible, build their goal-setting muscles, and achieve results that reflect their full potential.
OKRs help employees work together, focus effort, and drive the organization forward. Key results are used to define what it means to achieve broad, qualitative goals, and imperatives like "do it better" are transformed into clear, measurable markers. From the framework’s inception in the 1980s to its popularity in today’s hyper-competitive environment, OKRs make work more engaging and feature frequent feedback cycles that enable workers to see the progress they make at work each and every day. This audiobook shows you everything you need to know to implement OKRs effectively.

An Introduction to Compactness Results in Symplectic Field Theory

Free Download Casim Abbas, "An Introduction to Compactness Results in Symplectic Field Theory"
English | ISBN: 3642315429 | 2014 | 260 pages | EPUB | 4 MB
This book provides an introduction to symplectic field theory, a new and important subject which is currently being developed. The starting point of this theory are compactness results for holomorphic curves established in the last decade. The author presents a systematic introduction providing a lot of background material, much of which is scattered throughout the literature. Since the content grew out of lectures given by the author, the main aim is to provide an entry point into symplectic field theory for non-specialists and for graduate students. Extensions of certain compactness results, which are believed to be true by the specialists but have not yet been published in the literature in detail, top off the scope of this monograph.
