Twelve Characters A Transmission of Wang Fengyi’s Teachings

Free Download Fengyi Wang, "Twelve Characters: A Transmission of Wang Fengyi’s Teachings"
English | 2015 | pages: 202 | ISBN: 0991342925, 0991342968 | EPUB | 3,5 mb
Just like the title states so simply, "Twelve Characters" is a synthesis of Wang Fengyi’s system of Five-Element emotional healing. It is a literal translation by Sabine Wilms, PhD, of the Chinese book, recommended by Drs. Liu Lihong and Heiner Fruehauf as the ideal introduction to this powerful healing modality for the Western world. It is with great pleasure that we are able to offer you this introduction to the teachings of Wang Fengyi, a Manchurian peasant-saint born in 1864. After our previous publication "Let the Radiant Yang Shine Forth," this is only the second English-language publication for readers who seek more information on this apparently simple yet deeply moving and life-changing method of healing and self-cultivation.

All this is achieved by narrating the stories of six Grand Inquisitors. Exonerates the Church of all wrong-doing. Really dispels the lies about this institution. 320 pgs, PB

The Characters of Elijah and Elisha and the Deuteronomic Evaluation of Prophecy Miracles and Manipulation

Free Download Roy L. Heller, "The Characters of Elijah and Elisha and the Deuteronomic Evaluation of Prophecy: Miracles and Manipulation "
English | ISBN: 0567679012 | 2018 | 264 pages | PDF | 2 MB
Roy L. Heller looks at the prophets Elijah and Elisha in the books of Kings charting a two-fold characterization that portrays these prophetic figures in both positive and negative lights. In the narratives of Kings Elijah and Elisha often parallel other prophetic figures from Israel’s history: they perform miraculous signs, they speak in the name of God, and they pronounce judgments upon the nation of Israel for its idolatrous worship. There are, however, other stories which have troubled readers and scholars alike: Elijah’s cowardly running from the threats of Jezebel, his self-pitying complaint to God that he was the only true Israelite left, and Elisha’s cursing a group of little boys who, in turn, are slaughtered by two female bears. Scholars have traditionally ignored or belittled the negative stories of the prophets, seeing them as either late additions to the biblical text or as minor, unimportant stories that can easily be dismissed.

Characters of Groups and Lattices over Orders

Free Download Characters of Groups and Lattices over Orders: From Ordinary to Integral Representation Theory
English | 2022 | ISBN: 3110702436 | 373 Pages | EPUB (True) | 48 MB
This is the fi rst textbook leading coherently from classical character theory to the theory of lattices over orders and integral representations of fi nite groups. Character theory is developed in a highly pedagogical way including many examples and exercises covering at once the fi rst defi nitions up to Clifford theory, Brauer’s induction theorem and the splitting fi eld theorem, as well as self-dual simple modules allowing bilinear forms. This latter part is done step by step using the approach given by Sin and Willems. Dirichlet characters and Dirichlet’s result on primes in arithmetic progressions are given as an application. Examples of integral representations of fi nite groups are already detailed at a quite early stage where appropriate, so that the more systematic treatment of lattices over orders is natural. After that, the necessary number theory and homological algebra is developed as far as needed. Maximal as well as hereditary orders are introduced and the Auslander- Buchsbaum theorem is proved. The Jordan-Zassenhaus theorem on the fi niteness of lattices in a given vector space is fully proved. Then the development and properties of class groups of orders is a fi rst focus. As a further highlight Swan’s example of a stably free but not free ideal over the integral group ring of the generalised quaternion group of order 32 is developed in great detail.
