OpendTect is a free, open-source seismic interpretation system for visualizing, analyzing and interpreting 2D, 3D and 4D seismic data. It is also widely used for Geo-Radar interpretation. OpendTect is released under the GNU Public License (GPLv3 or higher). OpendTect is also a software development environment for fast-track development of new plugins (in C++). Third-party developers can choose to develop under the GPL license. If so, derived products must be released as open-source plugins (copy-left principle). Alternatively, developers can opt to develop under the OpendTect Pro license agreement, which permits development of closed source plugins. Code developed in Matlab and Python can be integrated into OpendTect. For more information, please visit the software development page.

Women as Sacred Custodians of the Earth Women, Spirituality and the Environment

Free Download Alaine Low, Soraya Tremayne, "Women as Sacred Custodians of the Earth?: Women, Spirituality and the Environment"
English | 2001 | ISBN: 1571814671, 1571813160 | PDF | pages: 273 | 1.1 mb
Literature on women, development and environment is abundant. The relationship between women and ecology has been analyzed by various disciplines, by specialists from the North as well as the South. This book offers a new perspective, specifically to challenge the assumption that women have a special affinity with the Earth and therefore a historic mission for the care of the environment. The book explores spiritual, religious and philosophical beliefs concerning women and ecology, and whether women are truly "sacred custodians" of the Earth. This concept has evolved from ideas developed by eco-feminists. Whether and how different belief systems can be put to use to create an awareness to protect, preserve and improve ecological conditions is discussed. The collection of papers demonstrates the complexity of the issues and the variations and vulnerability of the assumed relationship between women and the environment in different cultural and political contexts. The book challenges policy solutions which are devised to be on a global scale and to create unrealistic global aspirations, and the value of targeting women in a particular attempt to achieve environmentally sustainable development.

Earth Qi Gong for Women Awaken Your Inner Healing Power

Free Download Earth Qi Gong for Women: Awaken Your Inner Healing Power by Tina Chunna Zhang, Michael Milburn, Earl Morgan M.D.
English | January 29, 2008 | ISBN: 9781583941959 | 144 pages | EPUB | 11 Mb
The special medical Qi Gong described in this book was developed and perfected over the course of 1,700 years by Taoists, traditional Chinese medical doctors, and Qi Gong experts in China to meet the needs of a woman’s unique anatomy. Author Tina Zhang leads readers through a variety of pleasurable postures and easy exercises that address specific areas of the body. In turn, these exercises, which work progressively to strengthen the spirit-mind-body connection, enhance natural female energy to help prevent or alleviate health issues and conditions from puberty to post-menopause, including high blood pressure, stress, fatigue, endometriosis, age-related problems, and more. Emphasizing a balance between hormones and emotions, the book includes concise descriptions of selected acupuncture points, meridians, and orbits that promote long-range anti-aging and long-term optimal health. Women empowered by these benefits can take control of their bodies and better direct and assist their physicians in maintaining their health without the cost, risk, and side effects of pills, hormones, and supplements. Qi Gong for Women also contains useful information on addressing women’s physical and spiritual health for physicians, acupuncturists, and doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
