Eingebettet werden die aktuellen Ergebnisse praktischer Vermittlungstätigkeit in neuere Befunde aus der Psychologie zur Motivation älterer Beschäftigter, aus der Soziologie zu Auswahlprozessen bei Einstellungen und der Stellung älterer Erwerbstätiger im Betrieb sowie aus der Neurophysiologie mit neuesten Erkenntnissen zur Lernfähigkeit Älterer. Der Band richtet sich daher sowohl an Praktiker in der Arbeitsvermittlung, als auch an Forschende zum Thema ältere Erwerbstätige.
