Random Noise Measuring Your Company’s Safety Performance

Free Download Random Noise: Measuring Your Company’s Safety Performance
English | 2024 | ISBN: 1032012420 | 146 Pages | PDF (True) | 1.3 MB
In the realm of safety management, this book embarks on a profound exploration of how the political economy was reshaped in the last two decades. Much like privatization, deregulation, and financialization altered the economic landscape, this narrative unveils how safety management has been affected by the intertwined dynamics of asset underinvestment, privatization, self-regulation, workplace flexibilization, and market-driven policies.

Static Crosstalk-Noise Analysis For Deep Sub-Micron Digital Designs

Free Download Static Crosstalk-Noise Analysis: For Deep Sub-Micron Digital Designs by Pinhong Chen , Desmond A. Kirkpatrick , Kurt Keutzer

As the feature size decreases in deep sub-micron designs, coupling capacitance becomes the dominant factor in total capacitance. The resulting crosstalk noise may be responsible for signal integrity issues and significant timing variation. Traditionally, static timing analysis tools have ignored cross coupling effects between wires altogether. Newer tools simply approximate the coupling capacitance by a 2X Miller factor in order to compute the worst case delay. The latter approach not only reduces delay calculation accuracy, but can also be shown to underestimate the delay in certain scenarios.

Between Shadows and Noise Sensation, Situatedness, and the Undisciplined

Free Download Amber Jamilla Musser, "Between Shadows and Noise: Sensation, Situatedness, and the Undisciplined"
English | ISBN: 1478030097 | 2024 | 208 pages | PDF | 19 MB
In Between Shadows and Noise Amber Jamilla Musser theorizes sensation as a Black feminist method for aesthetic interpretation and criticism that uses the knowledges held by the body to access the unrepresentable. Thinking through Blackness, empire, and colonialism, Musser examines artworks ranging from Ming Smith’s Flamingo Fandango, Jordan Peele’s Us, and Katherine Dunham’s Shango to Samita Sinha’s This ember state, Titus Kaphar’s A Pillow for Fragile Fictions, and Teresita Fernández’s Puerto Rico (Burned) 6. She engages with these works from an embodied situatedness to grapple with the questions and sensations of racialization and difference that the works produce. Throughout, Musser rethinks how we consider the relationships between race, representation, and politics by dwelling in those spaces and concepts that elude Western norms of representation, objectivity, and logic. In so doing, she explores ways of being and knowing that exceed overdetermined parameters while offering a blueprint for sensing, imagining, and living otherwise.

Creole Noise Early Caribbean Dialect Literature and Performance

Free Download Belinda Edmondson, "Creole Noise: Early Caribbean Dialect Literature and Performance"
English | ISBN: 0192856839 | 2022 | 208 pages | EPUB, PDF | 2 MB + 4 MB
Creole Noise is a history of Creole, or ‘dialect’, literature and performance in the English-speaking Caribbean, from the late eighteenth century to the early twentieth century. By emphasizing multiracial origins, transnational influences, and musical performance alongside often violent historical events of the nineteenth century – slavery, Emancipation, the Morant Bay Rebellion, the era of blackface minstrelsy, indentureship and immigration – it revises the common view that literary dialect in the Caribbean was a relatively modern, twentieth-century phenomenon, associated with regional anti-colonial or black-affirming nationalist projects. It explores both the lives and the literary texts of a number of early progenitors, among these a number of pro-slavery white creoles as well as the first black author of literary dialect in the English-speaking Caribbean.

Noise Contamination in Nanoscale VLSI Circuits (Synthesis Lectures on Digital Circuits & Systems)

Free Download Noise Contamination in Nanoscale VLSI Circuits (Synthesis Lectures on Digital Circuits & Systems) by Selahattin Sayil
English | September 1, 2022 | ISBN: 3031127501 | 147 pages | MOBI | 10 Mb
This textbook provides readers with a comprehensive introduction to various noise sources that significantly reduce performance and reliability in nanometer-scale integrated circuits. The author covers different types of noise, such as crosstalk noise caused by signal switching of adjacent wires, power supply noise or IR voltage drop in the power line due to simultaneous buffer / gate switching events, substrate coupling noise, radiation-induced transients, thermally induced noise and noise due to process and environmental Coverages also includes the relationship between some of these noise sources, as well as compound effects, and modeling and mitigation of noise mechanisms.
