Manufacturing supplier diversity is the process of Multinational Enterprises (MNEs) purchasing from small and medium-sized manufacturers (SMMs) owned, managed, and controlled by traditionally under-represented groups. This course addresses supplier development at the two levels where it takes place: the process of developing SMM capabilities and capacities in core business process areas; and the integration of enabling technologies into core business process areas to foster competitiveness in Industry 4.0 data driven-driven supply chains.
