Description
During this training I will share with you a process you can follow improve your analysis skills. It’s going to be practical, specific and prescriptive. In other words I’m going to tell you what to do, and why. Analysis, which is figuring out the answer to a question and making a recommendation to the audience, can be done in lots of ways. Most people make it up as they go along, they learn from trial and error and, eventually, become good analysts. I will show you how to become better immediately, by following a structured process which can be applied to any analysis need. You will leave the course with a definitive process for analysis, it’s downloadable within the course for you to practise in the course and for you to use in future. This course, while based on strong theory, is mostly practical in nature. You will have two main tasks to complete, the first teaches you how to define the right question for your analysis. This one is about supermarket brands. The second task is to complete your own analysis, which is about participation in women’s football. Both tasks are based on scenarios I have created for you, and I will share with you my work on the same topics after you have competed your work. You’ll learn why this is an optimised approach to analysis by learning how it compares to the typical way of doing things. This will give you the confidence and motivation you need to apply this in your own career.
